Our high school choir held a winter concert last night and it was nothing short of phenomenal.

The tenors and basses performed together, followed by the sopranos an altos. But the main attraction — it was a show stopper — was the combined 9/10 and 11/12 choirs performing together with a orchestra for a 20- to 25-minute piece that was extraordinary.

The orchestra, the choir, everything about it just worked. The extended standing ovation from the audience told the story better than we can with words.

Mr. Stutzman, students, and orchestra — thank you. We’ll remember this one for a long time.

Photos from the concert are below. The full gallery has all of the photos — high resolution images available for download.

Wonderful concert!

Stopped by the high school today to check out some of the short plays in Mrs. Gammon's Honors English 9 classes. Paired in small groups, the students wrote and then performed their own plays for their classmates.

We certainly have some creative kids in our freshman class. These were fun.
