Enrollment, Registration & Fees
Welcome to Gilbert
Every Student. Every Day.
Gilbert Schools is thrilled to welcome your student(s) and family to our district. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to help your child or children learn, grow, and achieve success.
Existing/Current Gilbert Students
Gilbert Schools’ Online Registration/Renewal for the 2024-25 school year is open.
All families of current students must renew their student’s information each year. This annual renewal is accessed via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Once in the portal, go to “More,” followed by “Online Registration.”
It is required, by the first day of school, that you complete this update so that we have your student’s most recent emergency contact and health information.
Existing families may also add a new student via the parent portal.
Please email District Registrar (registrar@gilbertcsd.org), or call 515-232-3740 with questions.

In order for a student to enroll into the Gilbert School District, a student must be a district resident on the first day of the school year or on the date the student first attends school (if after the designated first day of the school year). The residency of a student is determined by physical presence for a primary purpose unrelated to school. The home a student is living in determines the residence.
Please be aware of the following:
- A mailing address does not constitute residency.
- An apartment or house rented for the purpose of attending school does not establish residency.
- In the case of shared custody, parents/guardians must designate one district of residence.
- The rule of thumb is that residency is determined by where the child sleeps most nights of the week.
Home Schooled Students/Dual Enrolled
All homeschooled students will need to fill out a CPI/Form A (PDF) and return to the district office. Please contact Mackenzie Hopkins (hopkinsm@gilbertcsd.org), our Home School Assistance Program Coordinator.
If you need to use a computer or need any help during the registration process, please call the Gilbert District Office at 515-232-3740 to make an appointment.
