Struggling to find ways to keep your child active? Maybe active video gaming can be a solution! Regular physical activity has been linked to better health and better academic performance! The motor control lab at Iowa State University is currently recruiting children ages 8 to 10 years old to study how a unique experience with a rhythmic video game and other physical activities affect performance. Participation will include four <1-hour visits, two of which will include a short physical activity session. These visits are conducted individually, so they can best fit your schedule. Participants will receive a gift card of $25 upon completion of all sessions and can request a free download of the active video game to continue to be active at home! If you are interested in enrolling your child, please complete a prescreening and scheduling survey at the link below. https://iastate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bvnQRYhiMFZwnJA Feel free to contact Georgia Garrett at ggarrett@iastate.edu with any questions.
