Superintendent Note Nov 2020

Congratulations to Sophie Vanderpool for qualifying for the State Cross Country meet and to the Girls Volleyball team for making it to the state tournament!  Congratulations to their coaches and parents for all of the hard work and dedication to helping these girls achieve at such a high level.  Congratulations to our eight All State Musicians, Ryan Hinderaker, James Marino, Aubrey Mizerak, Kalyn Schmidt, Jonah White, Danni Anderson, Gwendolyn Stewart and Ben Siegel, who have been selected to represent us.  Unfortunately, there will be no concert this year but the achievement is still fantastic.  Congrats to Byron and Kaaren for preparing the students so well. We are also looking forward to some virtual music concerts and the live streaming of the fall Variety Show.  The Variety Show will air at 7:00 pm on November 20th.

The coronavirus continues to be a daily battle, but we feel pretty good about our first couple of months of classes.  We have been pleasantly surprised by how well our students are doing with the face coverings, hand sanitizing and socially distancing. It isn’t perfect but every little bit helps!  As the numbers across the country continue to climb, please encourage your child to follow these mitigation procedures–none of us want to go remote again!!  Please click HERE for a list of products we could use if you are out shopping and can find them.  We appreciate your support in our battle with COVID-19.
