Veteran’s Home Christmas
Holiday times can be lonely for many of these veterans who have no family with whom to share the holidays. There are gift collection boxes located at the Gilbert City Hall and the Gilbert Lutheran Church. Final collection date will be December 10th. Below is a list of suggested gifts:
- New clothing in sizes L, XL, 2XL i.e. sweatshirts, T-shirts, sweatpants
- Toiletries i.e. shampoo, shaving cream, etc.
- Puzzles books
- Candy bars and boxes snacks
- socks
- Playing cards
- Games
- CD’s
- Any gift you would give to a relative of yours in a similar situation.
