Gilbert Kids Club
Gilbert Kids Club is a quality after school program for children in grades K-6 organized by Ames Youth and Shelter Services (YSS). Kids Club is an exciting and challenging place, helping children stretch their skills in mind and body. It is also a safe, comfortable place where children can build positive relationships with caring adults. For the time you can’t be with them yourself, Kids Club supports your efforts to nurture your child’s healthy development.
Our staff is dedicated first and foremost to the supervision, safety and happiness of your child. Kids Club staff members are trained in ares of positive guidance, working with children and activity planning and implementation. Staff members are also trained in CPR and First Aid.
Hours
Kids Club is open immediately after school is dismissed until 6:00 pm. Kids Club is also open on non-school days (excluding holidays).

- Select Afterschool Programs
- Select Kids Club
- Select Register for Kids Club
Once we receive your registration, we will contact you with additional information. Fees are determined by a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. Please contact us for your rate. A $30 (plus $10 for each additional child in the same family) one-time registration fee is required upon registration.
